We started RISE Reporting because we recognized that the news was shifting towards social media platforms, and that individuals needed to adapt.

We believe that users need to become more educated about social media. Citizen journalists, influencers, and reporters who publish news on social media should try to adhere to a set of values that will inform the public and engage in constructive discourse, resulting in mutual understanding and respect for diverse communities across the United States of America.
